Information For Energy Group
What is IFEG?
IFEG was founded in 1984 as a special interest group for individuals concerned with any aspect of information within the energy industries - including oil and gas, coal, renewables, future fuels, nuclear, electricity etc. Members include consultants, librarians, knowledge management professionals, researchers, book sellers, publishers of energy information, database providers, information technology experts and many other professionals working in the energy industries.
As an IFEG member you will be joining a forum of fellow professionals that will help you to keep up with the rapidly evolving tools and techniques of the business of information supply and management, especially in relation to the energy industries.
Membership costs £25 annually and benefits include:
-
a programme of energy related visits and seminars organised each year
-

-
our bi-monthly e-newsletter
-

We offer members a variety of energy and information related visits and seminars, usually in the London area. Members come from all over the UK and abroad, however, and there are occasional meetings in Scotland. Typically our annual programme of events includes:

Our IFEG Members directory of members and their interests is published every year, available only to IFEG members. The directory is a useful way to make contact with others working in the same field.
